Spiel: This Fall's sampler has a little something for everybody. The lead track from Poppet that recalls Post-era Bjork and Dreaming-era Kate Bush simultaneously; the reclusive-genius songwriting skills of French Quarter and Barren Nieces; the beautiful call-to-arms post punk of Kickball; the unearthed classic Olympia compilations that give us the driving noise pop of Crayon (later to become twee icons, Tullycraft), among a whole host of others.
